Senior Data Marketing Analyst
The Senior Data Marketing Analyst is a combined strategic and tactical role. Strategically this position will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, consultation and analytical insights related to marketing and business trends that will enable various revenue generating departments to drive growth and profitability and help them optimize/improve their KPIs. You will be expected to present to C-level individuals and be comfortable in this forum. Tactically this position will still be ‘hands on’ at all levels of data. You will need to meet the day-to-day data needs of individual departments including list pulls and campaign result reporting.
Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years experience transforming technical, marketing and financial data into strategically driven and actionable analysis
- Strong business acumen and ability to tie metrics and analysis to drivers
- Must be comfortable and have prior experience understanding, interacting with and managing executive level needs and expectations
- Expertise in Excel (functions, macros, pivot tables etc.), SQL query writing, and small db tools such as Access and Filemaker Pro
- Expertise in using and analyzing data from business intelligence solutions such as Business Objects, Hyperion, and Crystal Reports
- Must enjoy and excel at distilling large amounts of data into concise, understandable, convincing presentations that advise management on data-driven business decisions

Responsibilities Include:
- Work with Marketing, Finance , Product, Business Development and Engineering to define meaningful metrics and help them meet their business and strategic objectives and produce detailed analysis, reports, graphs and presentations indicating performance
- Identify, report and disseminate metrics that are key indicators of the performance of marketing, business development and partner programs

VerticalResponse is looking for an ambitious, proven sales and strategic account management professional to help drive our growing partner channel. The goal of the Business Development Director is to find, secure, and build mutually successful, revenue generating relationships between ecosystem partners and VerticalResponse. This will include resell partnerships, lead generation and pipeline development, and the associated support and marketing activities needed to grow these relationships.
You must have a clear understanding of the email marketing industry and demonstrate the ability to generate demand, sell in a consultative manner, have deep experience in negotiations, and a strong co-marketing background. This is an ideal position for a 'people person' who likes to develop long-term relationships with their customers. The BDD will report to the Vice President of Business Development.

Parnter Integration Manager
VerticalResponse is looking for a talented and proven sales engineer/technical consultant to help drive our growing partner channel. The goal of the Partner Integration Manager is to help create, design, and implement technical integrations between ecosystem partners and VerticalResponse. The PIM will also be responsible for the ongoing support needed to grow these relationships.
You must have a clear understanding of the software as a service industry and demonstrate the ability to sell in a consultative manner, gather and document requirements, and translate those requirements into a mutual development plan.

Qualifications Include:

- Knows Linux system administration, GNU utilities, and RPM management inside and out

VerticalResponse is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Quality Assurance Engineer. You should be self-directed, team-oriented, and know and care about what our customers need from our service. Specifically, you will design, create, document, execute and maintain test cases, plans and scripts to assure product quality.
Duties will include the development and design of complex strategies to effectively assure the quality of all software functionality and the development of tools and processes that will enable the successful manual and automated validation of our services.
You will enhance the functionality of VerticalResponse's internal UI and back-end automation frameworks as well as develop automated reporting mechanisms for test results while providing effective analysis and recommending corrective action based on these results.
Working closely with software developers and product mangers to understand software product requirements and functionality, you will design appropriate test plans and test cases to verify software features and functional specifications. You should like to break things and be exhilarated when you discover a really complicated bug.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- 4+ years of Software QA experience overall including black and white box testing
- 3+ years testing web-based applications
- Fluent in SQL with the ability to perform complex database queries
- Strong knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Ruby, Perl or Python
