In Facebook news today, we’ve learned the company has plans to release the long rumored, threaded conversations. Threaded conversations will allow users to not only reply directly to comments left on someone’s Page content, but they’ll also be able to start threaded conversations.

Why is this important? According to The Next Web, “Facebook says that it will make it easier for administrators and fans to interact with one another while also communicating individually and pushing relevant chatter to the top of each post.” The Next Web further states that, “conversation threads will be re-ordered based on relevance to viewers based on three factors: positive feedback, connections, and negative feedback.”

Page admins can opt-in for threaded conversations by enabling it in the Mange Permissions section of their admin panel. Pages with 10K or more followers should have the service by default at the time of writing, and all Pages should have the service by July 10, 2013.
