Women in corporate America are expected to wear suits, but successful women CEOs can just as easily be found in jeans.
I make a conscious effort to be as comfortable in my clothing as I can. I also LOVE fashion. I track in my RSS reader what fashionista is wearing the latest and greatest in Hollywood. I die for the red carpet, forget the awards. But fashion and work don't always go hand in hand.

Starting a business with the one you love might sound dreamy, but you should give it careful consideration before making the business commitment.
I'll start off with this. I'm crazy about my husband. John and I have been married 11 amazing years and have been together for 13. Since we are both in high-tech and marketing, we are very involved with each other's businesses. But it stops there.
At VerticalResponse we think of emails campaign as snowflakes - each one is special and no two are exactly alike. But that doesn't mean you can't learn something by comparing your campaigns to the competition. Every year, email marketing grows in popularity and sophistication. That's a good thing. Yet, faced with so much rapid change, many marketers don't know what qualifies as a successful campaign or a dismal failure. That's bad.
