Albert DiPadovaAlbert DiPadova
Vice President, Due Maternity

Albert DiPadova and his wife Shannon Raffetto DiPadova own and operate Due Maternity, a web site and four-store chain of fashionable maternity wear which they launched in 2003. "Due was born out of necessity," Albert says. "While visiting family in Santa Barbara during Shannon's pregnancy, we noticed there were no specific maternity stores to shop. It seemed strange that Santa Barbara had so many great clothing stores, yet no stylish boutique featuring clothes and products a mom-to-be would desire." They launched DueMaternity.com, then opened stores in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Austin, Texas, and Atlanta.

Elliot FeldmanElliot Feldman
Nova Bar & Restaurant

Nova Bar & Restaurant is a hot spot in San Francisco's popular SOMA area. Elliot bought into this fledgeling restaurant/bar which at the time was just keeping up with the slow pace of the early 2000 Dot-bomb crash on the area. Coming from a flurry of restaurants including Johnny Love's, the Blue Light Cafe and even starting his own small business called WhizWit, a popular Philly Cheesteak eatery. Elliot knows how challenging it is to run a small business. Elliot's quarterly email newsletter and events announcements using VerticalResponse leaves those who don't receive it wondering why they're not "on the list" to which Elliot replies, "just give me your business card and you'll get the next one."

PAWS / Pets Are Wonderful Support

PAWS, Pets Are Wonderful Support, is an ever-growing 20-year-old non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the human-animal bond by keeping terminally ill, disabled and elderly persons and their pets together. When VerticalResponse offered PAWS' an opportunity to try their product, PAWS Webmistress Karin literally sat up and begged to produce PAWS' online Donor News. As a self-employed business woman whose passion is communicating and paying her bills, Karin requires efficient tools allowing her to meet PAWS' deadlines and still juggle her other web and design clients, and the 8 dogs she walks daily as Karin4Pets. Compared to the tangled web of online software other clients have requested she learn and use, utilizing VerticalResponse was a virtual off-leash walk in the park.
