Steve Mariotti, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship Founder
Steve founded Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) in 1987 after spending time as a math teacher in New York City's most challenging neighborhoods. He found that his students were most motivated by the stories he told of his own business ventures, and realized that they could easily succeed as entrepreneurs if only given the proper tools and guidance.
